About the position
You will provide occupational therapy services to clients presenting with a range of multiple & complex abilities in regional NSW.
What you will need to succeed in the role
-
Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
-
Full registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
-
Demonstrated a passion working in NDIS sector and in Regional NSW
-
Demonstrated experience in providing supervision & leadership to staff members
-
A clear & strong knowledge the NDIS structure
-
Current National Police Clearance
-
Current WWCC
-
Current First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing initial assessment and ongoing treatment to elderly clients and clients with disabilities.
-
Producing thorough and accurate documentation and completing funding application reports (if required)
-
Liaising with service providers and within the team to ensure effective communication.

Travelling to client's home (if Required) for initial OT assessments and ongoing interventions, including equipment trial and home modification review.

Demonstrated a passion working in NDIS sector and in Regional NSW

Knowledge of best practice in Private Speech Therapist customer service delivery.

A clear & strong knowledge the NDIS structure

Current National Police Clearance

Current WWCC
-
Current First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Assess speech and communication needs of clients utilising the relevant assessments and intervention strategies.

Review and update all plans when necessary

Identify and implement treatment options

Liaising with service providers and within the team to ensure effective communication.

Travelling to client's home (if Required) for initial OT assessments and ongoing interventions, including equipment trial and home modification review.
